This pair dates back to an earlier period of my work, when I was still working from a small warehouse workshop with no natural light.

Originally made for Kevin Hart, the design takes its colour inspiration from Kanye West’s Louis Vuitton ‘Patchwork’ sneaker and translates the mix of pink, burgundy and cream onto an Air Max 1.

Hot pink calf suede wraps the mudguard, contrasted with cream tumbled leather across the toe box and midsections.

Soft pink goat leather is used for the Swooshes, front eyestays and tongue, while two shades of burgundy bring a mix of smooth and suede textures through the heel and collar.

The pair is fully lined in burgundy Nappa lamb leather and finished with a white Air Max 1 midsole and gum outsole.
