There wasn’t a larger concept behind this pair. I made it simply because I liked how the colours worked together.

The upper combines two different tones and textures of grey, with the turquoise/mint leather adding a small hit of colour against an otherwise understated palette.

Sometimes a pair starts with a story or reference. This one started with a colour combination I wanted to make.

The design uses grey across most of the upper, with smooth leather sitting against soft suede to create contrast through texture rather than adding more colour.

Turquoise/mint leather Swooshes provide the main colour accent, carried through to the Chase Shiel logo embroidered onto the white leather heel tabs.

A white midsole and translucent outsole finish the pair without taking attention away from the upper.
