The ‘Cherry’ colourway goes back to one of my projects from early 2020, when I reinterpreted the 2005 Nike Dunk Low Stüssy ‘Cherry’ as an Air Max 1. That release sold out immediately.

With material remaining from the original project, I later revisited the colourway as an Air Jordan 1 Low.

This is the sample pair from that release. While the final pairs were produced with gum outsoles, this sample was made with a cream outsole, making it slightly different from the pairs that followed.

Chocolate brown suede forms the overlays, contrasted against ultra-smooth pastel pink Japanese nubuck through the toe box and midsections.

Cream leather Swooshes break up the two dominant colours, with an embroidered cherry at the heel referencing the original ‘Cherry’ inspiration.

Unlike the eventual release pairs, this sample features a cream outsole rather than gum.
