Funnily enough, the inspiration for these came from Billie Eilish. With some of her styles pre-covid.

Why Billie Eilish? Well, I had planned to collab with a fellow designer, then Covid hit & I pushed them to the back of my 'To do list'. I already started making them before Covid, so I wanted to complete them when I had time. I found time! And here they are!

These were challenging to make, especially with the use of patent leather. I used shiny perforated leather (the one with holes) for the wings & eyelet panels. Behind the perforation is 3M reflective material, which will light up and shine through the holes in low light.

3M is again used for detailing across most of the upper, including the swooshes. Neon Lime and Yellow leather placement alternates between the left and right. All black soles are used with a patent black leather midsole wrap (side-wall of the shoe wrapped in leather).
